Sierra Vista Elementary students joined the 2026 Riverside County National History Day Competition. About 500 students across the county entered, and 137 projects moved on to the state-level competition at California State University, Sacramento. Sierra Vista students contributed projects in areas like documentaries and exhibits, showcasing their research and creativity. The event encourages research, critical thinking, and presentation skills for students in grades 4–12.
Q1. What kind of extracurricular activities does Sierra Vista Elementary School offer?
Ans. At Sierra Vista Elementary, there is a student-initiated club called Ecolutions where students assist in doing recycling throughout the school in addition to maintaining a school garden.
Q2. Is there a Parent Teacher Association (PTA) at Sierra Vista Elementary School?
Ans. Yes, the PTA organizes events such as Trunk-or-Treat, book fairs, Red Ribbon Week, and Family Nights for the benefit of the community.

Ans. Sierra Vista participates in Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) to help students learn about PRIDE values and promote positive behavior and a healthy school culture.
