The district's newsletter recently wrote about Coyote Hills Elementary's new STEAM lab, where students use coding and 3D printing to solve real-world engineering problems. The school community recently took part in a very successful "Walk-a-Thon" that raised money to improve the digital resources available in the campus library. The campus also continues to have a lot of parent involvement through its monthly "Coffee with the Principal" sessions, which are meant to help the school improve as a whole.
Q1. What are the rules for dropping off kids in the morning at Coyote Hills Elementary?
Ans. Parents should use the curb-side lane and follow the traffic flow to make sure their kids are safe when they arrive in the morning.
Q2. Are there any gardening or nature clubs at Coyote Hills Elementary?
Ans. The school has a small garden on the property where students learn about biology and taking care of the environment by planting things.
Q3. How does Coyote Hills Elementary School stop bullying?
Ans. The administration has a strict anti-bullying policy and teaches kids about good character to make the school a safe and respectful place to be.
Q4. Does Coyote Hills Elementary have a summer bridge program?
Ans. The district has a short summer session for students who are eligible to help them keep up with their schoolwork during the long break.
Q5. What is Coyote Hills Elementary's policy for lost and found items?
Ans. Parents can pick up jackets and lunchboxes that haven't been claimed from a central bin before they are donated each semester.
