This March, Monta Loma Elementary is celebrating Public Education Week by focusing on how interested and engaged its students are in all of its grades. The school just finished its open enrollment period for the 2026–27 school year, and families are now moving on to the next step in the registration process. We are planning tests for the spring to see how well students are doing in math and English language arts.

Ans. The school shows how interested and involved students are by letting families visit classrooms and see different academic projects.
Q2. Is Monta Loma Elementary School focused on making sure all students are treated fairly?
Ans. The school follows a district-wide plan that puts a lot of emphasis on inclusive practices and makes sure that all students have the same access to resources.
Q3. What does Monta Loma Elementary do to get ready for state tests?
Ans. Teachers give students practice tests and tips to make sure they are ready and at ease for the spring tests.
Q4. Is there an active parent-teacher association at Monta Loma Elementary?
Ans. The PTA raises money to pay for extra arts and sciences programs for all grades on campus.
Q5. What is the name of Monta Loma Elementary's mascot?
Ans. The Leopard is the school's mascot, and students wear school spirit gear to show their support for the school at different events on campus.
