Jose Antonio Vargas Elementary is taking part in the district-wide "Better Together" campaign for March, which honors women who have paved the way for others and encourages people to help others. The school community just finished the yearly LCAP survey, which will help with planning for the 2026–27 school year. Parents of fifth graders at Graham and Crittenden campuses are currently getting help with how to adjust to middle school life.

Ans. This initiative focuses on honoring historical trailblazers and promoting the value of helping others throughout the local community daily.

Ans. The school gives students and their families advice and workshops to help them get ready for the move to local middle schools.

Ans. Families fill out an online survey every year to give feedback that helps the district set its goals and budget priorities for the year.
Q4. Is there a recycling program for the whole school at Jose Antonio Vargas Elementary?
Ans. A student-led green team manages recycling efforts to promote environmental responsibility and sustainability across the entire school campus grounds.
Q5. What is the color of the "Jose Antonio Vargas Elementary" spirit and mascot?
Ans. The V-Hawk is the school's mascot, and students wear navy blue to spirit assemblies to show how proud they are of their school.
