Students that attend Julius Cordes Elementary participated in the Influence Ideas Mentorship Program where more than 100 grades 5-8 students from all Mountain House schools met for a leadership and public speaking program. For several weeks, they developed speeches, practiced how to present them, and received mentoring from high school student leaders. The program culminated in a public showcase where selected finalists presented their speeches in front of family and community members, showcasing the creativity, confidence, and development of student leaders.
