Nordstrom Elementary School is located at 1425 East Dunne Avenue in Morgan Hill. This school serves grades K-5 with an enrollment of 612 students. The student–teacher ratio is 22:1. Math proficiency is 53% and reading proficiency is 66%. The gender mix is 50% female and 50% male. The school has a community-focused atmosphere that encourages students to be good citizens. The school building has been a part of the community's infrastructure for a long time. Large gathering spaces are used for school-wide events and to honor students. Students can safely walk around campus thanks to well-marked paths. Students can use the shaded areas during lunch and playtime. Windows in the classroom let in natural light, which helps make the learning environment bright. During arrival and departure times, staff members keep an eye on the front gates. To make sure students are safe, shared equipment is checked on a regular basis. In this neighborhood, homes cost between $950,000 and $1,600,000. Parents often comment on how involved and caring the teachers are. This is one of the best elementary schools in California.

As part of the district's spring literacy initiatives, Nordstrom Elementary is helping to find community volunteers to read aloud in classrooms. The school is also getting families ready for the spring break that all MHUSD students will have later this month. Staff members are now finishing up the process of enrolling students in TK and Kindergarten for the 2026–2027 school year through the district's central office.
