Sherwood Elementary in Modesto, California, is going through a big change! The school is in Phase 2 of its Long-Range Facilities Plan, and a $54 million renovation project is 54% done. The new building will be ready for the 2026–2027 school year. It will have modern classrooms, a new gym, and better safety features.

Some exciting news is:

- New Gym: More room for school events and P.E. classes

- New Entrance: Safer and more inviting

- Geothermal System: Better for the environment and uses less energy

- Improvements to the outside: better landscaping and play areas

The principal is dedicated to running the school and making it a good place for students to learn and grow.
