There is a lot of excitement at Paradise Elementary in Modesto, California! The school just finished a successful back-to-school season, which included events like Back-to-School Night and a Parent Club Meeting. The school is also putting a lot of effort into recognizing students.
The school is clearly dedicated to getting people involved in the community. Events like Dine Out Night at Red Robin and Cowgirl & Cowboy Dress-Up Day help build community and school spirit. The principal and other dedicated staff are working hard to create a welcoming and positive environment where students can do well. The school's goal is to get students interested in learning and encourage them to develop important skills and get involved in their community
Q1. Are there events that happen outside of school hours?
Ans. Yes, Paradise Elementary School often has events after school hours. These are things like family nights, themed spirit weeks, school assemblies, and special events that happen throughout the year. These events make students look forward to going to school and help families stay in touch with the school community.
Q2. Is there a library at school?
Ans. Yes, the school has a library that students go to once a week. During library time, students are encouraged to read, look at different kinds of books, and get help from staff when they check out materials to help them improve their reading skills.
Q3. Do people practice safety drills?
Ans. Paradise Elementary takes safety very seriously. The school follows the district's safety rules and regularly holds emergency drills so that students know what to do and feel ready for anything.
Q4. Are there programs for kids who are very smart?
Ans. Yes, the school has extra learning and enrichment opportunities for students who meet certain requirements. These programs push students and help them learn more than what is taught in the normal curriculum.
Q5. What does the school do to get kids to be active?
Ans. Students stay healthy and full of energy by taking physical education classes on a regular basis and having recess outside every day.
