The people who go to Capistrano Elementary School in Modesto, California, are all very happy! The school threw a party for its fourth graders not too long ago to celebrate the fact that 97.3% of them were there. As a reward for their hard work, students who had perfect attendance for the last two weeks got to go on a special trip to Ysleta High School.
The school is also celebrating its Super Readers, who finished the 20 Book Reading Challenge. The goal is to get kids to enjoy reading. Capistrano Elementary is also celebrating how creative its students are with events like the Morning Costume Parade and International Dot Day, which show how unique and spirited they are. These programs show that the school wants to be a friendly place where students can do well. Capistrano Elementary is a good choice for families who want their kids to get a well-rounded education.
