John Sinnott Elementary sits at2025 Yellowstone Avenue in the North Milpitas neighborhood. There are 782 students in grades K–6 at the school, and there is one teacher for every 26 students. It is 75% good at math and 73% good at reading. The gender mix is 50% male and 50% female students. The school gives its families a stable and community-focused place to live. The campus is a central place where people from the area feel like they belong. People who have been to the site say that it is focused on community harmony and common student goals. Students can easily see the rules and expectations that will help them get through the school day. Recently, John Sinnott Elementary held a special assembly to celebrate its high performance on the California School Dashboard. The assembly honored both the students' hard work and the teachers' dedication. As part of the district's priority enrollment window for families in the area, the school is now taking applications for the 2026–2027 school year. The annual Sinnott Talent Show, which features performances by students from all grade levels, is one of the most exciting events coming up this spring.
