Middle College Academy's unique partnership with Yuba College is still going strong. Recently, a record number of high school seniors were on track to get their Associate Degrees at the same time as their diplomas. The academy has started a new Peer Mentorship Initiative, in which older students help new students with their schoolwork and social life to make the transition to college-level work easier. The school also recently held a successful Innovation Showcase, where students showed off their original research projects and technical designs to professionals in the area.
