Jan Work Community School is currently expanding its student support through new Career Technical Education (CTE) partnerships that give students hands-on experience in industries that are important to them. Recently, the campus celebrated the success of a community-based mentorship program in which students work with professionals in the area to learn how to manage projects in the real world. The school is also starting a new wellness program that includes outdoor mindfulness activities in the weekly schedule to help students grow and become more resilient as a whole.
Q1. What kind of education does Jan Work Community offer?
Ans. The school has a fully online, self-paced learning environment with digital coursework and help from teachers.
Q2. Is it possible for students at Jan Work Community to get back or earn credits?
Ans. Yes, students can take courses to get back on track with their studies or to move ahead in their studies.
Q3. Are there activities outside of school?
Ans. There are a few extracurricular activities available, such as online clubs, virtual leadership programs, and community service projects.
Q4. Does the school offer counseling services?
Ans. Yes, students can get help with schoolwork, college planning, and their social and emotional health.
Q5. Are students allowed to take tests like the SAT to get into college?
Ans. Yes, students at Jan Work Community can take the SAT and other tests that colleges use to decide who to accept.
