Los Banos Elementary is getting ready for a big change because most of its current boundaries will be given to Westside Union for the 2026–2027 school year. The school is still focused on academic progress in the middle of the year, and students are using the district's Learning Management System to do their digital homework. Teachers are currently working together to improve their teaching methods by meeting once a week for a minimum of a day.
