Wilshire Crest Elementary in Los Angeles is getting a lot of attention for its new programs! The LA Clippers Read to Achieve Program is a challenge for students at the school to read and improve their reading skills. This program is a great way to get kids excited about reading.
The PTA at the school is also very active. They put on fun events like movie nights, book fairs, and talent shows to help people feel like they are part of a community. They are even helping out with the school garden program by teaching kids about gardening and nutrition once a week. Wilshire Crest Elementary is really making the next generation of leaders and change-makers by focusing on getting students involved in the community and helping them grow.
