STEM Preparatory Elementary in Los Angeles is doing great things! The school is part of LAUSD's "We Are One" program, which helps families in need with things like virtual school, transportation, immigration support, health and wellness, food, and housing.
The principal is in charge, creating a supportive environment where students do well in school, make friends, and feel good about themselves. All students at the school can get free meals, which encourages them to eat well and do well in school.
STEM Preparatory Elementary is dedicated to making the school a safe and welcoming place for all students. The school places a strong emphasis on STEM education and getting involved in the community. The school's values put the health and happiness of students first, along with academic success and social responsibility. This makes it a great place for kids to learn and grow.
Q1. What resources are available to students who need extra help with their schoolwork?
Ans. Tutoring sessions, small-group instruction that is specific to each student's needs, teacher guidance, and targeted learning programs are all ways for students to get help with their schoolwork.
Q2. What does the school do to keep the environment safe and happy?
Ans. The makes the school a friendly, respectful, and welcoming place by using programs for all students, campaigns against bullying, peer mentoring, and systems of positive reinforcement.
Q3. Do students get to do things outside of school?
Ans. Students can join music, sports, clubs, arts programs, and STEM activities that help them become better people, work together, and become leaders outside of school.
Q4. How does STEM Preparatory Elementary make it easy for students to learn?
Ans. STEM Preparatory Elementary has a friendly environment that makes students feel comfortable asking questions, taking part, and building their confidence in learning.
Q5. What does the school do to help students with different learning styles?
Ans. Teachers change how they teach to meet the different needs of their students, making sure they get the right help and support.
