Being Updated
The staff at Solano Avenue Elementary School in Los Angeles is very happy! The school recently held an ELAC and SSC Orientation and Nominations event that helped parents and other people in the community learn more about the school's projects and programs. The principal is in charge and is making sure that kids can learn, make friends, and feel good about themselves at school.
The "Leader in Me" method lets students decide how they learn and act, which helps the school create a culture of leadership. The LA Dodgers and City National Bank are two of the groups that work with Solano Avenue Elementary to give its students special chances to learn and grow. The Solano Avenue Elementary community is better off when they put their students' health and success first.
