Being Updated
The community is better off because of Nora Sterry Elementary School in Los Angeles, California. The school is currently taking in students from Marquez Charter Elementary, which was destroyed in the Palisades fire. They are working to make sure the students feel safe and supported. The Los Angeles Unified School District has given the students and staff tools and help to help them get used to their new temporary home.
The school is also part of the UCLA School of Education and Information Studies' partnership program, which has brought in volunteer teachers and other resources to help the students. The community is coming together to help the students and staff, which shows how strong and determined they are.

Ans. Teachers keep students interested and involved all day at school by giving them lessons, having them talk about things, and giving them projects to work on.

Ans. The school teaches students important life and academic skills while also making them feel safe and valued by emphasizing respect, consistency, and encouragement.
