Los Angeles Elementary School is celebrating an amazing accomplishment! The school has made a lot of progress in student achievement, with record-high levels of math and reading proficiency. The hard work of teachers, staff, and students, along with targeted investments in early literacy, math intervention, and more science opportunities, led to this success.

Tony Thurmond, the state superintendent, praised the school's work and said, "I congratulate the students, teachers, and staff of Los Angeles Unified for their hard work to achieve these results." The school's progress is part of a larger effort to speed up learning and close the gaps that the pandemic has caused. Los Angeles Unified School District is dedicated to giving students a good education, and Los Angeles Elementary is a great example of this dedication.
