There is a lot of excitement at Gates Street Elementary in Los Angeles, California! The school is now welcoming students back with a new focus on their academic success and social-emotional health. The principal and other dedicated staff are leading the way in creating a welcoming and positive environment where students can do well.
The school is getting ready for a busy year with events like the School Site Council Meeting and the ELAC Meeting coming up. Gates Street Elementary wants to give students the tools they need to become college-ready scholars and productive members of society in the 21st century. The school's Dual Language Program is great because it lets students learn Spanish and Mandarin in a way that is different from other programs. Gates Street Elementary is really making a difference in the lives of its students by focusing on communication, teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking.
