Cheremoya Avenue Elementary School in Los Angeles, California, is very happy to say that it has been named a California Distinguished School for 2025. This award is given to the school for its students' great work and dedication to doing well in school. Schools that do an excellent job and are very dedicated to helping their students succeed get this prestigious award.

The school will also give tours once a month in December, January, February, March, and May for families who are thinking about enrolling their kids. Families will get a taste of the school's active learning community on these tours. Cheremoya Avenue Elementary gives its students a well-rounded education by putting a lot of emphasis on the arts and learning outside. The school is part of the Creative Network of the Los Angeles Unified School District. This network teaches students theater, dance, visual arts, and music. Kids can learn by doing in the school's EnrichLA edible garden and Outdoor Learning Center. This makes them love nature and the environment.
