There is a lot of excitement at Willard Elementary in Long Beach, California! The Long Beach Museum of Art recently displayed some amazing artwork by middle school students, showing off their creativity and talent. The school is trying to create a supportive learning environment by focusing on values like respect, responsibility, and kindness. This event is part of that effort.
Willard Elementary is also hosting its annual Early Learning and Kindergarten Festivals from January 7 to March 7. These festivals are a fun and engaging way for new TK and kindergarten students to get to know each other. There will also be a "Celebration of the Young Child" event on April 25. The school puts a lot of emphasis on making the environment collaborative, cohesive, and fair so that students can become responsible, productive, and caring members of society.
