Bixby Elementary is a public elementary school in Long Beach, California, that serves students in grades K–5 as part of the Long Beach Unified School District. It is located in a big city. There are about 21 full-time equivalent teachers who help with instruction, but there is no full-time school counselor. Bixby Elementary has a traditional elementary school curriculum, but it is also known for its Dual Immersion bilingual program, which focuses on language development along with core academic subjects.
