Los Cerritos Elementary, which is part of the Long Beach Unified School District, is a school for kids in kindergarten through 5th grade. The school has around 500 to 540 students, with the student-teacher ratio at about 22 to 1, which helps us with structured classroom teaching. The state data shows that about 45-50% of students are good at reading. For math, it's roughly 40-45%. The students come from all walks of life, and it's pretty evenly split between guys and girls, about half and half.
Los Cerritos Elementary focuses on building a solid base in reading and math and supports kids through social and emotional well-being.
