Students at Live Oak Elementary School recently had a visit from the Mayor of Lodi. Second graders learned about how to be a leader in the city and how to help others in the community. The discussion allowed students to ask questions about how local government works. The visit made people on campus excited and linked what they learned in class to real-life civic learning.
