The 2025 PBIS Gold Implementation Award went to Altamont Creek Elementary for its work to make the "Wildcat" environment safe and welcoming. Students from all grades will perform for the community at the 2026 Wildcat Idol talent show. The school is getting ready for this event. Families are also filling out the yearly parent feedback survey to help the school figure out what its educational goals should be for the 2026–2027 school year.
Q1. Is there a before- and after-school childcare program at Altamont Creek Elementary School?
Ans. Yes, the Extended Student Services program is run directly on the school campus by the Livermore Area Recreation and Park District.
Q2. What is Altamont Creek Elementary School's official mascot and color scheme?
Ans. The Wildcat is the school's mascot, and students are encouraged to wear purple and gold on spirit days every week.
Q3. How does Altamont Creek Elementary School keep the roads safe for kids when they drop them off in the morning?
Ans. Parents must use the one-way valet loop on Garaventa Ranch Road to make sure that all students get out of cars safely at the curb.
Q4. Does Altamont Creek Elementary School have any special clubs for enrichment, like robotics or choir?
Ans. There are a lot of after-school activities at the school, like Wildcat Idol, a talent show, and music performances for each grade level.
Q5. How can parents find out about what's going on at Altamont Creek Elementary School each week?
Ans. Every Sunday, the administration sends out a digital "Wildcat Weekly" newsletter to let families know about events happening on campus.
