Discovery Elementary is still all about keeping students safe and helping them learn as the school year rolls on. They just got their updated safety plan approved for 2024-25, which means better security and more emotional support for everyone on campus. Meanwhile, families are looking forward to all the fun winter events and community happenings coming up.
Q1. Does Discovery Elementary help kids who are having trouble reading?
Ans. Yes, the school does offer small-group instruction and help with reading.
Q2. Are there services for students with special needs?
Ans. Yes, students can get special education and other help services.
Q3. Does the school provide meals at no cost or at a lower cost?
Ans. Yes, students who qualify can get free or cheap breakfast and lunch.
Q4. Do students get rides?
Ans. Students in the district who meet the requirements can take the bus.
Q5. How do parents talk to teachers?
Ans. Parents can get in touch with teachers by email, school apps, and meetings that are set up.
