Being Updated
All grade levels at DREAM Academy are taking part in the "Lakeside Launch" program, which offers specialized engineering and robotics challenges. As part of their spring project-based learning, the school recently held a "Innovation Expo" to show off student-designed solutions to environmental problems in the area. Parents are also welcome to the next site council meeting, where they can talk about the district's updated academic safety and technology goals for 2026–2027.
Q1. What is the "DREAM" focus at the academy and how do students learn about it?
Ans. Through hands-on projects that combine all subjects, the curriculum puts a lot of emphasis on design, research, engineering, the arts, and math.
Q2. Does DREAM Academy have a daycare program on site for kids before and after school?
Ans. The ESS program is on campus and provides supervised academic help and fun activities until six o'clock.
Q3. How does DREAM Academy honor students' successes and creative projects?
Ans. The school holds a spring Innovation Expo where students show off their unique engineering ideas to the community.
Q4. What is the official mascot and color scheme for DREAM Academy students?
Ans. The Griffin is the school's mascot, and students wear purple and gold to show school spirit and bring the whole campus together.
Q5. How can parents help with planning by joining the DREAM Academy School Site Council?
Ans. Every year, interested parents are chosen to work with the principal on the school's safety and academic goals.
