After being named a California Distinguished School for 2025, people have praised Arbolita Elementary for its high academic standards. There is a lot going on at the school right now because students and their families are helping out in the community and going to spirit rallies. In late January, there will be minimum days so that important parent-teacher conferences about how students are doing can take place.
Q1. Does Arbolita Elementary have a specific focus for its schoolwork?
Ans. The school is a Visual and Performing Arts Academy that teaches the arts along with the core subjects every day.
Q2. What are the rules at "Arbolita Elementary" about school uniforms?
Ans. To promote unity, students are asked to wear navy blue bottoms and white or light blue collared shirts.
Q3. Are there any yearly family festivals at Arbolita Elementary?
Ans. The campus has seasonal VAPA showcases where students put on musical and theatrical shows for their families and friends.
Q4. How does Arbolita Elementary use technology?
Ans. Every student has a personal device that they can use every day to interact with digital arts and interactive learning platforms.
Q5. Does Arbolita Elementary have any ways for kids to learn in the garden?
Ans. The school has a garden on campus where students learn about plant biology and how to protect the environment by working with plants.
