Jaelyn Romero, a senior at Rubidoux High School, was recently named the National Career Technical Education (CTE) Student of the Year for 2025-26. This is a very important award that was given to her out of nearly 300 students from all over the country. The "Not Someday, but Today" program, in which students take online classes with college professors to earn early credit, is helping to build a college-going culture on campus. As part of a beautification project in Jurupa Valley, student artists from the school have also recently helped the community by painting colorful public murals.
