Being Updated
Plymouth Elementary has also continued to have an active relationship with families throughout 2026 by providing weekly community newsletters such as the March 6 newsletter which contained messages such as “Happy Spring Break” and other important school reminders. The ongoing promotion of both Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten enrollment continues to assist families with preparing for the upcoming school year as well. In addition to providing regular updates, Plymouth continues to highlight student recognition activities and community participants on a regular basis as well, demonstrating that they value communication, celebrate success and maintain a close relationship between the school and its families.
Q1. Do Plymouth Elementary have any pre and post-awakening opportunities?
Ans. The majority of Amador County Unified schools offer Expanded Learning Opportunities (ELOP) and comparable programs for before and after-school instructional support, in addition to providing students an opportunity to actively engage in recreation and sports-based activities supervised by qualified staff.
Q2 What types of extracurricular activity opportunities are offered?
Ans. Plymouth Elementary offers students a number of activities, including art, basic athletic opportunities, and projects completed in their classroom that create opportunities for the children to participate beyond school.
Q3 How do parents receive information on current events and developments at the School?
Ans. School newsletters, communication from the District, and an electronic portal (i.e.., e-mail), are the three main avenues that allow parents to receive ongoing communications from the School, including announcements, important information and calendars.
Q4 Is technology used in the learning process in your classrooms?
Ans. Yes! Like most public schools throughout the state of California, teachers provide age-appropriate technology to enhance student learning, teach students to do research, and allow for interactive instruction via technology.
Q5 What is the procedure for enabling children to attend Plymouth Elementary?
Ans. Children can become part of Plymouth Elementary by completing an Enrollment Form provided by Amador County Unified School District to be turned in along with other required documents following their established Guidelines for registration.
