The City of Irvine has approved infrastructure updates affecting the area around Northwood Elementary. Planned actions include renovations to the playground at Northwood Community Park, also known as Castle Park, and an extension of the city-operated Irvine CONNECT bus route to serve the Northwood area. The changes are intended to improve recreational facilities and expand local transit access for nearby residents.
