Greentree Elementary received an Innovative Grant award in January 2026. Teachers Tamara Brown, Stephanie Frazier, and Patricia Hanes were awarded the sixth Mega Innovative Grant by the Irvine Public Schools Foundation for their Project SOAR program. The grant supports the implementation of instructional initiatives developed by the school’s teaching team.

Ans. Parents tell the school office directly about absences, and the reasons are written down so that attendance can be tracked.

Ans. The district's literacy curriculum is used in all classrooms to teach reading.

Ans. In the classroom, safety expectations are typically conveyed through the use of routines and consistent practice drills.

Ans. School calendars and reminder messages sent to families are two ways that important dates are shared.

Ans. If a parent needs more help, they can go to the administration.
