New Opportunities Charter School in Inglewood is currently working to empower the community by offering more vocational training and life skills workshops. Recently, they held workshops on financial literacy and the connection between the mind and body. The school has also made its Alternative Sentencing and Re-entry programs stronger by working with local courts to give people who want to get their high school diploma a dedicated educational path and clinical support. The campus also continues to promote student health through mental health programs and direct referrals to community partners for help with finding work and housing.
