The La Tijera K-8 Academy of Excellence Charter recently sent out district communications that talked about how well students were doing in school. They said that students were doing better on state tests, and that their performance was starting to go above pre-pandemic levels, as shown in recent school press releases and newsletters.
Q1. What is the process for families to apply to La Tijera K-8 Academy of Excellence Charter?
Ans. Families usually send the school an enrollment application directly. If there are more applications than seats, California charter school rules say that a public lottery process is usually used.
Q2. Do students have to wear uniforms?
Ans. Yes, La Tijera K–8 Academy of Excellence Charter has a uniform policy, like many other charter schools, to help create a focused and consistent learning environment. When you sign up, you will get more information about the dress code.
Q3. Do students get meals?
Ans. The school takes part in state and federal meal programs that give eligible students free or low-cost breakfast and lunch based on how much money their family makes.
Q4: What kinds of activities are there outside of school?
