In December 2025, Mesa View Middle School had an art project that involved all of its students. 850 of them worked with artist Daniel Dancer to make a big aerial design. The students on the school field made a 130-foot living painting of a humpback whale as part of the project. The coordinated effort included both participation in the visual arts and a large-group installation idea set up on campus grounds.
