Kinetic Academy is 19031 Gothard Street in Huntington Beach. This public charter school is open to kids in transitional kindergarten through eighth grade. Currently, there are 480 students enrolled. The student–teacher ratio is 22:1. Math proficiency is 62% and reading proficiency is 62%. The gender mix is 49% female and 51% male. People know that the school teaches in a creative way and through projects. This campus is always busy because students work with STEM-related materials every day. The building has special labs and classrooms that can be rearranged to make room for group work. Staff members work hard to make sure that technology and creative problem-solving are always part of the lessons. Families from all over the city send their kids to this school because they want something other than the usual district schools. The price of homes in the area ranges from $875,000 to $1,450,000. These numbers give a good idea of the main housing market in Huntington Beach. Parents are very happy with how the teachers teach and how much time they spend with each student. A lot of families say that the school leaders are easy to reach and that the school feels like a community. The school wants to be one of the best elementary schools in California.

As part of its STEM and innovation-focused curriculum, Kinetic Academy is currently showing off the work of its teachers and staff. The school recently met with people from the community to talk about its unique charter mission and how it uses project-based learning. The school looks at applications from new students for the next school year in the spring semester.
Q1. Does Kinetic Academy have any coding or software development clubs for middle school students?
Ans. The academy has an optional coding club where students can learn the basics of Python and web development to improve their technical skills.
Q2. How do I apply to the Kinetic Academy lottery for the next school year?
Ans. Parents need to fill out an online interest form by March to be entered into the public random drawing for available seats.
Q3. Does Kinetic Academy have a regular library or a digital media center where students can do research?
Ans. The campus has a high-tech media center that focuses on digital literacy and gives students access to a lot of online research databases.
Q4. Does Kinetic Academy have any sports teams for 7th and 8th graders that compete against other schools?
Ans. The school is part of a local charter league that offers volleyball, basketball, and soccer for older students.
Q5. How does Kinetic Academy fit project-based learning into its daily schedule?
Ans. Students spend time in the afternoon working on interdisciplinary projects that use science, math, and history in real-life situations.
