In the month of January, 2026, the San Bernardino City School District won a Golden Bell Award for their Pathway to Biliteracy program, completing a strong push towards Multilingual Education. Schools such as Oehl Elementary are continuing to enhance student achievement through increased attendance rates, improved literacy development, and creative ways to learn mathematics, making the entire San Bernardino City School District exceptional with regard to academic advancement.
