The San Bernardino City Unified School District has launched several wellness and family support initiatives at the beginning of March 2026, including free immunizations and sports physicals for students, free produce for families, and mobile food pantries. These efforts are meant to improve both the health of our students and their families' stability, and demonstrate the district's commitment to eliminating barriers to learning while strengthening connections between schools and families (Highland Pacific).
Q1. Does Highland Pacific Elementary school offer special education to all children who need it?
Ans. Yes, public schools in the San Bernardino City Unified School District (SBCUSD) provide special education to children who qualify.
Q2. Are meals offered to kids who attend Highland Pacific Elementary?
Ans. Most elementary schools in the district provide breakfast and lunch to enrolled students. The program is usually in compliance with the federal nutrition guidelines and can be provided free or at reduced rates.
Q3. What are ways parents can get involved at Highland Pacific Elementary?
Ans. Parents can participate in either volunteer activities, parent-teacher associations (PTA), school events, or district meetings.
Q4. Does Highland Pacific Elementary School have technology available for students to use in learning?
Ans. Many elementary schools within the district use technology as part of everyday learning. Students will have access to digital learning tools, computers within their classroom, or learning platforms that can help them with both learning and homework.
Q5. How do families enroll a child in Highland Pacific Elementary?
