Cram Elementary School was recently featured in the Family & Community newsletter published by the Redlands Unified School District. The newsletter highlights the role Cram Elementary play in developing students. The report displays evidence of leadership amongst students through various events and activities, academics and innovations; these accomplishments were made possible through the unified efforts from students, parents, and the Redlands Unified School District.
Q1. Are transportation services provided for children attending Cram Elementary School?
Ans. The types of transportation service provided are dependent on the school's district's policies for how far the child lives from school (the child's home address) and eligibility for transportation.
Q2. Do schools in the district offer any programming to support student learning/after-school enrichment?
Ans. The elementary schools within the district in general provide a wide range of after-school enrichment opportunities, including some form or type of homework assistance or academic intervention, or clubs at the elementary school.
Q3. Is there a parent organization or volunteer program at Cram Elementary?
Ans. Numerous parents volunteer to help with school-related activities through either volunteering or fundraising and support classroom programs and special events at school via parent organizations.
Q4. Are there student support services available on the campus?
Ans. Most of the schools across the district have a variety of student support resources available to students, including( but not limited to) counseling services, academic intervention programs, and guidance support to help students with positive school adjustment, emotional well-being, and socialization.
Q5. What kind of student assessment takes place during the school year?
Ans. Students will be assessed in numerous ways throughout the school year: state-wide testing, classroom assessments, reading benchmark assessments, and formal assessments throughout the year.
