Ranchero Middle School recently named eighth-grader Violet Steppan as its Student Athlete of the Month for January. While being a leader on the Girls Varsity Basketball team, she keeps up a 4.0 GPA. The award recognizes students who have done well in both school and sports through the school's student activities program.
