The California School Boards Association (CSBA) recently gave the Hemet Unified School District (which includes Hemet Elementary School) the 2025 Golden Bell Award for its Daily Huddle Program. This is a very high honor. This program helps keep students safe, improves behavior across all campuses, and encourages teachers to work together to solve problems. It has led to measurable drops in physical aggression and suspensions across the district.
