Being Updated
Palm Elementary is doing well because it is getting more students after the nearby Los Robles Academy closed. The school still has a safe and welcoming environment, and culturally responsive learning is a big part of it. The Board of Education meeting on February 26, 2026, made news when it said that Palm is a good example of how to help students move on and help the community grow.
Q1. What changes have happened at Palm Elementary since the schools merged?
Ans. The school has successfully brought students from the old Los Robles Academy into its growing TK-5 community.
Q2. What does Palm Elementary mean by "culturally responsive"?
Ans. This model makes sure that lessons in the classroom are based on and respect the different backgrounds of all the students on campus.
Q3. Did the Board of Education recently give Palm Elementary School its approval?
Ans. In February 2026, the school was named a model for helping students move on and helping the community grow.
Q4. Is there a news broadcast at Palm Elementary that students run?
Ans. Fifth graders make a video announcement every morning to let everyone on campus know about news and events coming up.
Q5. Does Palm Elementary have any options for after-school care?
Ans. The district's after-school education and safety program offers supervised care and help with schoolwork at the school.
