Being Updated
Recently, Horace Mann Elementary School took part in Glendale's "Principal for a Day" program, which brought a local leader to the school to watch classes and talk to students. The visit brought the school and the Glendale community closer together and showed how much students learn in the classroom.
Q1. Is there a library at Horace Mann Elementary School for students to use?
Ans. Yes. Students can check out books, do reading activities, and learn how to do research by following instructions and reading on their own in the school's library.
Q2. Do students have the chance to join arts or creative programs?
Ans. While they learn, students can take part in school events, creative projects in the classroom, and visual arts that encourage artistic expression and creativity.
Q3. How does the school tell parents about important news?
Ans. During the school year, the school usually sends out newsletters, uses digital communication tools, makes school announcements, and holds regular meetings with parents to share information.
Q4: Do students have access to health and wellness services on campus?
Ans. Yes. There is a school health office on campus that provides basic health services. During the school day, trained staff help students with small health problems.
Q5. Do Horace Mann Elementary School students go on field trips to learn?
Ans. Teachers might plan field trips or other educational activities for students in the same grade. These trips help students learn in the classroom and give them a chance to see history, science, and culture outside of school.
