Student-Led Environmental Initiative: Students from Sunset Lane worked on a Girl Scout Silver Award project by building an official Monarch Butterfly Way Station on campus. The garden has California native plants, water "puddlers," and QR-coded links to life science lessons that meet NGSS standards. These links make the school ecosystem better and help students learn more.
