Temperance-Kutner Elementary School hosted a Big Reading Time literacy event in May 2025 focused on early childhood reading. During the event, preschool students met Clifford the Big Red Dog and each received a dozen books provided through a partnership with Scholastic. The activity was organized to encourage summer reading and strengthen early literacy skills before students enter kindergarten.
