Rowell Elementary School was approved for campus upgrades as part of Fresno Unified summer makeover projects in June 2025. The approved improvements include new playground equipment, rubber safety surfacing, and added shade canopies. The upgrades are intended to improve student safety, outdoor play quality, and overall campus usability.
