Being Updated
Edison-Bethune Charter Academy hosted a memorial flag football game against Sunset Elementary School in late September 2025 to honor Corday Brown, a 10-year-old student who died after being struck by a vehicle on a Highway 99 off-ramp. During the event, the school presented his father with Corday’s framed jersey and observed a moment of silence. The game was held to remember the student and acknowledge his connection to the school community.
