Cyrus Moss, a student at Southridge Tech Middle, has been named Grand Marshal of the Fontana Black History Month Parade, which will take place on February 28, 2026. He was chosen after he worked hard to get a local campus renamed O'Day Short Elementary in honor of a family who were victims of a hate crime in the city in the past. The appointment recognizes students' involvement in civic activities related to local historical awareness programs.
