Randall Pepper Elementary School has been renamed to O’Day Short Elementary School by the Fontana Unified School District in a historic move that honors the legacy of the Short family, who helped break the city’s racial barriers nearly 80 years ago.
Q1. Does Randall Pepper Elementary School offer chances for students to learn about science, technology, engineering, and math?
Ans. Students work on projects that require them to use their hands and learn with technology.
Q2. Do students have chances to be leaders?
Answer. There are positions for student council and classroom leaders.
Q3. What do you do to encourage students to be creative?
The answer is that arts, music, and creative projects are all part of the curriculum.
Q4. Are there programs that get families involved?
Ans. Families can go to school events, workshops, and help out.
Q5. What does the school do to encourage teamwork?
Ans. Group learning activities and collaborative projects are important.
