In early 2026,  the Public Safety Academy the best high school in the Fairfield area. This showed how serious the school was about preparing students for college and work. The Work Ready Certification Program is a unique program that helps students improve their professional skills and confidence by working directly with the fire and police departments in their area. The Fairfield Police and California National Guard also do formal inspections every week to keep the academy's tradition of excellence going. This supports the program's goal of teaching discipline and leadership.
